Since three years from 2003 to 2005 , the quantity of mature pigs is 500000, 621000, 700000 respectively, the mature pig of the whole Yichang city in 2005 achieves 4310400, increases 433700 compared to the last year, increases 11.2%.
The project invests 102 million Yuan, the annualdesign scale of the live pigs slaughter is 500,000. To built workshop, purchase the equipment, set up new production line lately.The division meat of slaughters may supply the some meat product companies to carry on the intensive process, the part may supply the local market, internal organs of the pig can be sold after the process, the pigskin may supply the leather production factory directly, the pig excrement can be used in the agricultural production as the organic fertilizer.

The live pig is the traditional meat product which our country people expends, the productivity and the demand are all very huge, occupies above 60% of the entire raising livestock product. Along with the progressive improvement of the peopl’s life, continuously renew of cultivation idea, the people start to pay attention to the quality and the production benefit of the meat, and performs through the science cultivation way to improve, making the product quality of the live pigs raise greatly, the meats product appears the diversification, the nutrition, the convenience, direction transforms from the high fat pork to the low fat high nutrition, the high quality of hybrids commodity pig obtains the fast promotion. The the edible hot fresh meat is quietly transitting to the edible cold fresh meat, the freezing meat, demand of meat products of maintaining freshness and freezing are more and more in a big way, some small packing of division meat, finished processing meat products are trending to the people&*!s dinner table, livestock product for intensive processing is imperative, in 2005, the average per person of pork consumes in our country is 23 kilograms, the average per person of pork consumes in the developing nation is 31 kilograms, the average per person of pork consumes in the developed country is 42 kilograms,it has a big market development potential, moreover country such as Russia, Japan, South Korea and so on also imports pork food of our country to meet the needs, the pork trade also must largely rise, the market prospect is extremely broad.
C. Construction Condition of the Project
The project is planning to build in economic and technical development zone in Zhijiang, Hubei Province, the condition is superior, it is suited for developing this project.
(1) Richly endowed by natural with the electricity, water, natural gas condition. It possesses 15 substations in the whole city. The five state-level large-scale hydropower stations, such as the Three Gorges Dam, GeZhou Dam, Geheyan Dam, GaoBazhou Dam and ShuiBuya Dam ,are less than 70 kms away from it, it’s usually called “the corridor of output electric power in the Three Gorges area”. There is a waterworks of producing 100,000 tons of water daily in Zhijiang urban area (daily water yield about 30,000 tons now). Sanxia International Airport is only 30 kms away from the urban area.There are 8 ports and 46 berths along the 95.5 kms line of the Yangtze River in the city. The handling capacity of annual freight transportation is more than 3 million tons. It possesses the three-dimensional network of communication lines that waterway, highway, railway and aviation are well matched.
(4) The workforce resources are quite abundant.The population of labour in Zhijiang is 174100, 95% of people passed education above special secondary school. The average monthly salary of the local workforce is about 500 yuan.,
